First day of "work"
You don't know how much I've missed this...although I have to admit that it has been quite hard, I have finished my first day of "serious" training after the holidays.
I wanted to do something light in terms of running, more like a light jog. I have to say that I made the right choice because I couldn't run more than 4 km in 20 minutes, which some might think is quite "fast" but for me it was frustrating to realize what I had suffered... not on a physical level but on a cardiovascular level... my legs wanted to go fast.
Still, my heart and lungs prevented it, added to the fact that it was a blazing sun and we were at 30 degrees Celsius at midday...
However, I did what I expected and added 20 more minutes of core work in the gym, strengthening the upper body, arms, and abdomen...
It was quite intense but indispensable and satisfactory to successfully face the first day of work in the office after 1 month of incredible vacation.
