I think I have regained control of my life, I have had a few very difficult months at work but, enough is enough...I do not plan to "enslave myself" more than necessary.
What has been working very well for me lately is scheduling personal meetings at certain times of the week for myself.
These slots ARE SACRED to me and the project may already be burning out and I am not going to withdraw them.
Since I have implemented these "slots" reserved only for me, people tend to bother less, also the "snitch" in Outlook and the bloody Teams app are shown in "BUSY" status so people somehow stop bothering you when they see that you're not available...
I know, I'm not used to doing these tricks, but I'm forcing myself to do it to preserve my sanity.

So, today I had one of those "SLOTS", so I went straight to the running club.

I have run a fantastic 8 km in 39 minutes, in pure progression, that is, starting slowly and finishing fast and strong, traveling through different landscapes along the coast.

The last km at 3'50"/km pace and... 183 bpm (LoL), then some stretching, hydration and good food...

I already feel renewed.

The truth is that the most important thing is to never stop doing what you like and give yourself the privilege of stopping doing what you don't like... even if it is an obligation.

I get the same feeling at the gym everyday... I wish I started earlier...

It's just like when a person is working, then a person should put the same status as do not disturb, otherwise the person's attention gets distracted and he can't focus on his work at all.
