All beginnings are difficult...

...but the important thing is to start. And it wasn't easy to go running today as it's 30 degrees celsius at noon...even so, I was up for it.

My goal today was to run easy, around 30', over 5'/km, or even slower, and believe me when I tell you it was still hell even though going that slow...
At the beginning, running along the promenade in a southwest direction, the heat was so intense that my fingernails were sweating, it was there that I decided to cut the activity to a maximum of 5km, that is, to turn around in km 2.5...

and that's what I did, only to realize that when I changed direction, the wind then went against me so I still had to go slower.

As a result, I covered 5.1 km in 26 minutes and my average Heart Rate was 155 bpm, very high for a run that was supposed to be PURELY AEROBIC...

But this is what happens when you are inactive for so long, although I went running a couple of times in the mountains two weeks ago where I did not suffer as much since the temperature conditions were more favorable, I finished my regular training two months earlier with what I clearly need more runs at low speed to get an excellent cardiovascular level.

All in due time. It's just a matter of giving continuity to training to return to a good level of fitness.

Keep on running!

Many people don't realize that it doesn't get easier for us runners the more we do it, and we have to keep training in order to perform at our best
