Para quien escribe, lo peor de este arcoíris ha sido la eliminación de Brasil en los Cuartos de Final de la Copa América y, aclaro que no es que Uruguay no pueda vencer al gigante sudamericano, pero, la eliminación es la constatación del mal momento que atraviesa el equipo pentacampeón del mundo que los dejó fuera de esta competición y, ahora mismo está fuera de la Copa del Mundo del 2026, a al menos, tendría que ir a repechaje para buscar su presencia en el próximo mundial.

Este lugar está reservado para la octava parada de la Liga del Diamante de Atletismo desarrollada este domingo, en la que varias estrellas que animarán los próximos juegos olímpicos brillaron con luz propia. Sin embargo, hubo dos que se robaron el show al implantar sendos récords del mundo: Faith Kipyegon de Kenia y Yaroslava Mahuchikh de Ucrania.
