Culmina el campeonato mundial de atletismo bajo techo

Este domingo terminó la edición XX del Mundial de Atletismo bajo techo.

El gran dominador del evento fue Estados Unidos, con 6 medallas de oro, 4 de plata y 6 de bronce. Sin embargo, para este redactor la gran sorpresa por países la protagonizó Noruega que se quedó en el segundo lugar al ganar 3 títulos, por delante de potencias como Etiopía, Gran Bretaña o Italia quienes ocuparon los cuatro primeros lugares de este mundial que tuvo a la ciudad China de Naijin, como la sede del evento.

Ganó Cuba medallas de oro y plata en el campeonato mundial de atletismo bajo techo

Cuba registró la mejor actuación de América Latina y el Caribe al ubicarse en el séptimo lugar por países, en el recién finalizado Campeonato Mundial de Atletismo bajo techo. Con solo tres atletas, la mayor de las Antillas consiguió una medalla de oro y otra de plata para encabezar el medallero de los países de nuestra área geográfica.

Las protagonistas de tan importante hazaña fueron Leyanis Pérez y Liadagmis Povea, quienes hicieron valer los pronósticos pre competencia.
