El Real Madrid llega a esta competición con un sólido juego en todos los aspectos del juego, pues a una sólida defensa se une una delantera que a pesar de no ser la mejor de Europa tiene una dupla en Benzema y Vinicius Jr. que le pueden anotar a cualquiera de los equipos en competencia. Unido a la defensa y el ataque tienen un centro de campo que en mi humilde opinión es el mejor del mundo.

Estos son los clubes RB Leipzig de Alemania, El Shakhtar de Ucrania y el Celtic F.C. de Escocia equipo con el que el Madrid inicia, en esta temporada, su aventura de la Champions.

Si nos atenemos a la historia y palmarés de cada uno de los equipos el equipo Merengue tiene todas las condiciones, para terminar de líder del grupo, e incluso este autor considera que el técnico Carlos Ancelotti puede rotar a sus jugadores y lograr que todos estén listos, en cada una de las competiciones que tiene el equipo. Esta será una temporada bastante exigente, pues, además de las competiciones habituales, como la Copa del Rey, La Liga, La Champions y el Mundial de Clubes estará marcada por la realización de la Copa del Mundo durante los meses de noviembre y diciembre, y en la que mucho de los jugadores del club participarán en el mundial por lo que los cuerpos técnicos tendrán que gestionar bien el empleo de sus plantillas, en aras de alcanzar los mejores resultados.
