Rain or Shine: Last Sesh With Mark Before He Back Abroad

Once we go outside to take a skateboarding sesh turning back is not a first option no matter how good or bad the weather, rain or shine we don't waste time we still need to find a way to finish our sesh. Last November 30, 2024, six days before Mark back to Abu Dhabi we had a plan to take a street sesh at night. When I went outside everything was good the weather looked good although the sky was a little bit cloudy at that time. The plan was to find a spot where we could skate we just started to skate outside of Sumulong Park I think after 30 minutes of warming up a light rain started to fall. We weren't easily distracted by the light rain so we still continued to play but suddenly the light rain turned to moderate rain so we didn't have a choice to stop and find a shed.

After a couple of minutes, the moderate rain stopped and turned to light rain so we decided to take a walk and find a spot where we can able to skate. The first spot we thought we can able to skate was in front of the RTW store we saw a parking gather and Mark started to slide and grind the gather. After the first spot, we just continued to search for a spot but the rain never stopped so we just walked around and yeah we found some spot to land some tricks for a short time. We did notice the rain never stopped and it was so late so we decided to eat snacks at Mcdonald's before we back home.

While walking under the moderate rain we found a small drop so we stopped for a second and Mark waited to drop a Backside 180 Drop. The floor is a little bit wet at first Mark hesitates to do his trick he just feels it if he can land it. After a couple of tries, Mark finally managed to land his Backside 180 Drop and he perfectly landed it.

Two days ago before Mark left we were still able to skate in his garage that day the sky was cloudy so we expected heavy rainfall anytime. But before the heavy rain fell we still managed to execute more ledge tricks I think we were able to skate on the garage for an hour. After an hour the heavy rain fell so again we didn't have a choice to stop to skate until the rain was gone. After the rain was gone we took the ledge outside of the garage and we back to our spot where the last time we could able to skate in front of Barangay Hall.

I landed one of my favorite tricks on the ledge the Frontside Noseslide but still, I couldn't manage how I can slide this trick all the way.

After a couple of failures, Mark finally managed to land a good Frontside Crooked Grind.
