Night Skate Sesh With Mark and Calawis Skate Crew

The year I remember the last time Mark and I skated together at night is the year 2013. After almost 11 years we've been able to shred into the street at night again same the old days we checked every corner of the street to find a spot where we were able to skate. Last Saturday night November 23, 2024, one day after Mark arrived we met in our old spot in Sumulong Park but we called that place "Plasa" together with Bernard, Chris Lawrence, and Gerald. After 10 years Skating at Sumulong Park was strictly prohibited so we didn't have a choice to find another spot and that is the plan to search for a new spot.

Highlights

Just like in the old days, we ride in the middle of the road at full speed like we don't care if we are hit by the vehicle or we hit the vehicles and the is so much fun.

Before we checked a spot we tried to skate at the sidewalk outside of the Sumulong Park. Bernard tries to land his Treflip and he perfectly lands his Treflip.

While walking and checking a spot we found this sidewalk with a gap so Mark tried to land his Backside 180. Yep, Mark failed twice before he perfectly landed his Backside 180.

We weren't able to stay for so long in the first spot because the security guard told us skateboarding is not allowed in that place so we don't have a choice to find another spot.

I brought them into a place that I know every time I went into the spot in Teresa, Rizal I always see this place it is a parking lot of commercial buildings. Chris Lawrence landed a perfect Ollie drop in two stairs.

Just like what happened in the first spot the security guard in the second spot told us we weren't allowed to skate in that place so we didn't have a choice to leave. We tried to check our old spot beside a supermarket. When we arrived at the place we just sat on the sidewalk first just waiting and sensing if it was okay to skate there.

After 10 minutes of observing I tried an Ollie and I stopped for a second if those security guards came to us but all of the security don't have a reaction so we started to waxxing the sidewalk. The first trick I perfectly landed on was the Fakie Backside Bigspin.

Gerald Martin landed a perfect Frontside Ollie 50-50 Grind.

After 2 hours of shredding a security guard came to us and told us we needed to leave because it was already 10 PM that time so we just rested a little and we leave the place and headed back to Sumulong Park.
