Manchester United continue their good run of form
Well well, I just want to say that I’m one of the happiest people in the world right now. Being a Manchester United fan comes with a lot of joy and happiness and I very proud of what my team is achieving this season. Over the the past couple of months, Manchester United have been in a good form of run and I must admit that our football style has changed as well. Playing a proper attacking football with so much discipline and organization on the pitch.
In the premier league, Manchester United are currently sitting just 3 prints behind city rivals, Manchester city and 5 points behind the league leaders Arsenal after today beating Leicester city by 3 goals to nil. The whole match was very interesting and exciting one to watch, 3 good goals. Only 1 goal coming in the first half after a lot of chances created then the other 2 goals in the second half.
The man and the current best player in form, M Rashford netted 2 goals in the match while Bruno Fernandes provided 2 assists in the game. The second half substitute, Jadon Sancho also scored the goal for the Red Devils. While there were so many chances created for Werghost, he just couldn’t seem to hit the back of the net and earn himself his first premier league goal.
Today’s game proved a lot about Erik ten Hag style of football play, more chances were created and I think the defense was on point as well. Going forward into the summer transfer window, one problem or position that the team should look at more is the striker’s position. It just seems to be the missing piece of the team.
Now that Manchester United have built great momentum and on a great winning streak, I think playing Barca at home is going to be another exciting step many football fans will be looking forward to. After beating Barca, I don’t think there will be any team that can stop Man United from lifting the Europa League trophy lol.
After the Barca game, theirs is just less than 3 days left for the EFL final between Newcastle as well. As I said earlier, it’s going to be an interesting week of football for man United fans. Beating Barca at home and lifting the EFL trophy is going to put a lot of smiles on the faces of many fans, after failing to lift a single trophy in the last 4 years.
One man, that has gotten all the attention over the recent success of Man united is Rashford. He has been brilliant this season and the fact that he has been able to rediscover his form under the new manager is amazing. More importantly, he has been scoring a lot of goals after the World Cup. He is simply one of our best players this season, many had doubts about his future but I guess he has silenced them now.
Lastly, our campaign in this season couldn’t be any better without our midfield general “Casemiro”. He has improved the team so well that we literally struggle in games he’s not available in. Over the years Manchester United haven’t had such a player in the team and the way he has adapted to the league is not something that should go under the radar.
Hopefully all goes well, and we end up beating Barca mid week and lifting a trophy on next week Sunday. Thanks for having time to read through this space, leave your comments below and let’s discuss what you think about Manchester United this season. Have a great week ahead:)
It was a good game, both teams played well but Barca would have won that match if not for Xavi deciding to rotate players in that game. Fred's handball was clear and the referee refused to check the VAR and I am 100% sure if Christensen and Balde started that match the game would have turned out differently.
Well Manchester United could have equally won the match if they took their chances, the game could have been won by either team. Don’t forget that Kounde should have been sent of well with his last man tackle on Rashford.
I can’t wait for the second league, we have to beat barca ones and for all
