Football: Chelsea's Existence at threat as UK government slams Sanction
Greetings!!
Chelsea is in the worst possible situation after Billionaire owner Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government. Abramovich was sanctioned as a result of his purported ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. For the past few weeks, tensions have been rising around the world as a result of Russian President Vladimir Putin's poor decision to go to war with Ukraine. This entire conflict situation has harmed Russia's relationships with its assets all around the world.
Several sanctions have already been imposed on Russia in an attempt to dissuade them from continuing in the war, but they appear to have had no impact because Russian President Vladimir Putin is dead set on attaining his war objectives. The most recent sanction was imposed on one of Europe's most powerful football clubs. With the sanction's immediate effect clause, this simply means that Chelsea's Russian billionaire owner can no longer pursue or pursue attempts to sell the club.
What could be the possible outcome to Chelsea.
First, the UK government may consider a dispensation request from Chelsea if they believe that a change of ownership is in the club's best interests while providing no benefit to the owner. This will also mean that the government will most likely seize full control of the club's sale, then either freeze or donate the earnings to charity, presumably to Ukraine's war victims.
However, this left Abramovich with two terrible options: either cooperate with the government, resulting in the loss of his team, or let Chelsea rot slowly. In any case, he is at a disadvantage. For what it's worth, the wealthy Chelsea owner has only 81 days to reach an agreement to sell the club for no money. Failure to do so will determine if Chelsea can continue to operate because their license to operate as a football club expires on May 31.
In my opinion, I think the billionaire will not appreciate seeing his life's work rot just like that. However, the former should be the case. This whole sanction thing is yet to unfold wildly on Chelsea because with the ban on them, they will be unable to make new signings which other clubs rivals might advantage of their plight. Anyway, we all hope for better days ahead for the Chelsea people.

I think the UK government are being too harsh by punishing a businessman for crimes he didn't commit.
Well, time will tell how the whole event plays out, but I see Chelsea coming out stronger.
Of course Chelsea will come out stronger. I see better days ahead
