Life Goes On: My Actifit Report Card
It was a long day. From doing posh curation duties, to jogging midday and ending the day with @brokemancode in one of our favorite restaurants, my heart is full.
The day started normally after I had my morning drink. Who else doesn't start their day until they had coffee? 🙋 I'm glad that after capping off the first trimester of my MBA, I have picked up the pace of my active routine. I was able to walk around the neighborhood today to buy Christmas gifts for my godchildren. I sounded so old after I typed that 😆.
I was glad that one of the University sportsfest event was a Virtual Fun Run. I know, I was confused at first. But after I read the criteria, it all made sense to me. We were given run dates and we were free to choose the distance which we were to cover. We would track our runs using a phone app and we will submit the screenshots of our run to the point person. The fastest within that category wins!
I immediately downloaded a running app and I wanted to test it out for myself so I decided to go for a run after my second posh curation duty. It was so hot! I was determined to go outside no matter what and so I covered myself with sunscreen. My skin got burnt and I'm probably never going to walk during that time again.
I just ate everything that I exercised today! What good is an active day if you don't reap the rewards right after? 😆 Seriously though? How am I ever going to reach my target weight with this attitude? Hahaha.
After dinner at OSG, we had dessert at Tom N Toms. We talked about business and our plans for the future. That's what I like about my partner and I, we have the same direction in life. He has more experience than me when it comes to business and I love learning from him. When the night went a little darker, it was time to go. It was a rainy night and I made sure to be extra careful.
I am super grateful for today. Even if it wasn't perfect, it still gave me the opportunity to become a better person. Hopefully, in the coming days, I will have tamed my eating habits and have developed a consistent routine for my activities. Until then, I hope you won't get tired of reading my stories. Thank you!
