SKATE HIVE CORFU

Hey guys, It’s Percy here, i wanted to bring you along for our Sunday Funday adventure. We went all around Corfu looking for places to Skate Board. We saw there was a Skate Park near Corfu town. On Corfu island we are staying in Petriti, we are staying at this nice families house, they have 2 kids, very close to our age. The boy Lucas has a Skate Board. He let us borrow his skateboard so we could go find this skate park. Here you see me with his skate board just at the entrance of the skate park.

Of course Amari wanted to immediately steal the board, but she needs help balancing, it took her some time but she got it in the end



she just sat down 🤣 Amari likes rolling down the ramp. It’s fine that she likes that but we only have 1 board and i want to skate for reel. Take a look at some shots of me in action!


There was this really fun ramp to go down I went down multiple times. It was tricky keeping my balance. I had to do it over and over again. By the end i could do it from the top of ramp.


I don’t know any tricks yet, but really just staying on the board is really fun!

We found this cool dome place, all the buildings had graffiti. Mom said that was pretty classic to have graffiti everywhere because graffiti and skateboarding go hand in hand.



I was practicing doing a trick, well not so much a trick as jumping off and just landing on the board. Wow, skateboarding is Hard.


We went to HiveFest a few months ago and when we were there we met @knowhow92 He was a presenter at HiveFest. We heard him speak about Skatehive.app I asked my dad if i could make a post, but we didn’t have a skateboard until now. @knowhow92 gave my dad stickers, so we put them up at the Skatepark 🔥
We found the perfect lamp post.


We also had a worldmappin sticker, so we also added the Skate Park to the Map!


I went down the small ramp. Even though it was small it got my adrenaline pumping. I could have stayed all day skating. But my parents always have other things to do and they told us we had a 20 minute warning.


Here’s a picture of Amari skateboarding. She was getting pretty good. Sadly we had to leave.
Not so sadly we went to eat at a Seafood Tavern next.


Fish Soup, muscles and a seafood risotto with tzatziki as a side dish to dip the break in. Yum yum, i love Greek food so far.


This is me standing outside. We had the entire Taverna to ourselves, and big windows to look out to the Boat Yard.
We decided to go into Corfu Town after. Mom said i could bring the skate board and ride along the streets. Corfu town has really old looking streets.


I cruised around and was much faster than all the walkers.


After we went to Corfu town, here is some pictures of me and Amari standing in front of the main fortress in corfu.
It was old looking. This was what the internet told me about Old Fortress history.

The Old Fortress in Corfu Town is a historic Venetian stronghold built on a rocky peninsula separated from the rest of the city by a moat, the Contrafossa. Its origins date back to the Byzantine period (8th century), but the Venetians expanded and fortified it significantly after taking control of Corfu in 1386.
The fortress played a critical role in defending the island from Ottoman invasions, particularly during the 16th and 17th centuries. Its design features advanced Venetian military architecture, including bastions, tunnels, and a system of counterforts.

Now it’s a place for tourists like me and my sister to take pictures in front of🤣
