My Actifit Report Card: January 21 2024

Parkrun day again, and we did Fenit greenway parkrun again. Or at least, I did the run, and herself volunteered. Today was my first time joggling (jogging while juggling) since I dislocated a finger last May! Until recently, the repeated impacts of catching the juggling balls caused too much pain and swelling, so the thousands of catches required for joggling a 5k were out of the question.

Today was also a course Personal Best time for me, though that not surprising since it’s only my 2nd visit here and the first was a walk/run with herself 😂

After breakfast at the wetlands cafe, we walked a few laps there so she could get her steps up for the day. I stopped to take a few pictures of the resident swans. 🦢
They are such beautiful creatures not quite as graceful as usual during the cold snap though, as they waddled and slipped on the frozen surface of the lake.
