I was about talking about this match for some days now but due to so many reasons I have to pend the write up and focus on that. When it comes to the Uefa champions league and even the English premier league at large we can say that Liverpool fc have performed amazingly well. This is the more reason I have grown to love my team despite the hassle and some challenges.

With the way my team are going I think Jurgen Klopp deserves more recognition, he is one of the best coach in the world if not the best. If I am to rate him and other coach I think it is the coach of Chelsea fc (Thomas Tuchel) that will come closer to him at the ranking level. I am not saying just to justify my team, I am saying it to let us knows that Jurgen Klopp is a very good coach who deserves more recognition. He has really transformed the team from the scratch.

Out of the two leg encounter I must admit that it is the one that was played at their home that got me really afraid. We all knows that Atletico Madrid is one team you can't defeat at home, they are very strong when it comes to keeping such record. They are just like Liverpool fc and I must say that for Liverpool fc to have defeated them at home it shows that my team put out their best performance.

That aside, after the first leg encounter which sees my team getting them (Atletico Madrid) defeated, the return leg started and I must admit that I was really was a little bit nervous at same time while confident at the other side. The reason I was afraid was because I knows that the Atletico Madrid team will be looking forward to retaliate to the defeat they got against Liverpool fc while the reason I am so strong is that my team are at Anfield and I knows it will be hard for any team to be defeating them at their home soil.

I believe they are the only team holding such record right now. They are the team with 100% run when it comes to all competitions. I must admit that I am so happy from what I have been seeing from their performance so far. I am pretty sure that such record will be maintained for so long before any body will dent it especially the one at Anfield. I remembered how Liverpool fc almost goes unbeaten through out the English premier league, I just hope they are able to get that achieved this time around.

That aside and back to how it happened when it comes to the Uefa champions league encounter between Liverpool fc and Atletico Madrid, I will say it was a flawless victory as Liverpool fc were able to get them outplayed so fast. From the way I am seeing this Atletico Madrid team it is obvious that their strength lies in Antonio's Griezman performance. The moment he is not playing just take it that they are in trouble. That is what happened during the two leg encounter. We all knows that Griezman was red carded in the first leg encounter and that automatically bans him from playing in the second leg encounter.

The referee started the match and it didn't take up to 13th minute before Diogo Jota scored from a good walk ball which saw T. Alexander-Arnold creating such amazing assist. This assist really got my heart in full shape as I was happy that Diego Jota was able to convert that chances.

The moment that goal got in I knows it will be difficult for Atletico Madrid to retaliate. While laughing and discussing about the goal the second goal drops in for Sadio Mane through the man I keep calling the assist king, T. Alexander-Arnold. With this goal Liverpool fc are already two goals into the match. To cut the long story short it was the 2 nil that ended the match as Liverpool fc comfortable seat at the top position with 12 position while Fc Porto seats on second position with 5 point. Atletico Madrid seats on third position with 4 point while Ac Milan seats on 4th position with just 1 point. This is how their group stage log stand for both side.

That is how it ended between the two side. Judging from the first and second leg encounter I will say it is fatality for Atletico Madrid as Liverpool fc heavily got them defeated.
