Liverpool fc keeps the pressure mounting on Manchester city as they defeated Watford city 2 nil
I have a lot of things to discuss when it comes to the English premier league but that won't be possible today. Before I digress let me use this opportunity to first of all wish everybody happy new month, gradually we are running towards the end of the year. We are already in the second quarter of the year and that alone is interesting I must admit. Gradually this is purging us towards the end of the English premier league for 2021/2022 season.

Just like what I hinted above we are gradually approaching the end of the English premier league 2021/2022 season and we all knows what that means. Looking at things we can see that we have just two team out of all the other teams that are pushing and pressuring to win the English premier league trophy this time around. I will really be happy if my team Liverpool fc can do justice to the English premier league by winning it this time around.
The reason I will really be happy if we can lift the English premier league trophy during the 2021/2022 season is simply because of the fact that despite everything, we still manage to get this far by reducing the point difference between Manchester city and us to just a difference. Nobody saw this coming but at the end of it we were able to get it achieved. Well, the better side should always win the trophy.

We all knows that there is one thing special about Manchester city, the moment they are ahead of you especially when it comes to league races it is very difficult to draw them down. We have seen such thing happened over time, they are one team that you don't play with. They will surprise you and you will be the one begging them to drop down point. This is the more reason I love them, I so much love a consistent team and Manchester city has proven to be one that can always get that done.
Evaluating between the two side/team we can simply say that it is going to be an interesting run but I am sure that it might go Manchester city way. My reason is simple, we all knows that between Manchester city and Liverpool fc, it is Liverpool fc that has more difficult matches than Manchester city. Liverpool fc still needs to play against Manchester city, Manchester United, Everton FC and some heavy name team, this will really affect them coupled with the fact that they will be playing in the Uefa champions league too.

Despite all the challenges that lies ahead for Liverpool fc, I am just in love with what Jürgen Kloop believed on. He said he is not concerned about trophies, he is just after winning one matches at a time. We all knows that steady win will surely birth trophies. So in a nutshell he knows what he is after, surely we will get that achieved.
Yesterday match against Watford city wasn't the best match at all for us but one thing that I love about my team is that despite everything i.e poor game play, my team was still waxing stronger. Their mentality is to always get the win and that is what they look out to in any match. Well, that is what they were able to show against Watford city yesterday. We didn't play well but despite our poor performance, we manage to get composed as we win them 2 nil at the end. Goals from Diego Jota and Fabinho does the magic for the team. We just can't argue less as we all knows that three point is the main deal here, it is what it is needed in all angles.

I am happy that we have dealt with that match and it is behind us right now, the next important match right now is the Uefa champions league match between us and Benfica. That is what we should be focusing our attention on, just like what I said above, that is what is important right now as we have already claimed the needed three (3) point that we need from Watford city. The win against Watford city helps us to maintain the one point difference between we and Manchester city as they also wins their match.

It was a thrilling match to watch as Liverpool secured another 3 points. However, City won as well so the gap remains. I just hope the Reds can keep winning their remaining games because anything is possible.
Not going to be easy for Liverpool fc.
Being a Champion is never an easy task. I believe in the REDS ability and I'm certain they'll win an additional trophy.
I knew this would continue for a long time till they meet because they can both withstand the pressure. Next week is a title decider and we would see how it is.
Just like we say in football...this would go down to the wire. I am afraid both of them might play a draw when they meet but whoever wins have the advantage in the title race.
The return leg between City and Liverpool would definitely decide where the pendulum swings as they'd most likely be level on points when they meet.
I think Salah is yet to recover from his penalty miss in the qualifier against Senegal. I hope he gets over it soonest.
Jota is simply amazing. I guess no Liverpool fan saw him being this important to the team, especially displacing Bobby.

I didn't imagine that so many points were going to be deducted either, I came to think that everything was already defined for City, now I think that the direct game between the two will be the crucial match, if everything stays the same with a difference of 1 point whoever wins that match will be the league champion.
It seems to me that City has more depth, they can vary their squad so that the players are more rested after Champions League matches or other cup commitments, while in Liverpool Kloop uses the top 3 and the middle ones a lot, so that's it It can cost them because there is not so much replacement.
