Heavy defeat on the Liverpool fc team as they lost 4 vs 1 nil to Manchester city team at Etihad Stadium

If you have been following up with my soccer post you will see that I have been talking about this match for a very long period of time. This is holding to the fact that I know for sure that it is going to be an interesting match that requires win for both side. The reason why the Manchester city team wants to win this match or encounter by all means is holding to the fact that winning this fixture or match will give them boost as to the English premier league trophy or rather still, the English premier league title race. We all knows that the moment you are talking about the English premier league title race, the team that will come or struck your mind is the Manchester city fc team and the Arsenal fc team. As far as the English premier league title race for the 2022/2023 season is concerned, they are the only team struggling or competing against each other on who will lift the trophy. Manchester city knows that when it comes to the pursuit of who will lift the English premier league trophy for the 2022/2023 season, you have to make sure that you are ready to push in effort that is more than expected. This will simply be achieved if you are ready to crush any team that comes your way regardless of who they are. This is very vital and difficult quest or criteria for any team that wants to lift the English premier league trophy. If you are not ready to commit your time, attention, dedication, focus and commitment to chasing the English premier league trophy you might not be able to lift the English premier league trophy at the tail end. The English premier league is one of the hardest league out there, winning it depends on so many factors.

I have been saying this time without numbers that I don't see the Liverpool fc team winning this match. One of the main reason why I stated this is holding to the very fact that the Liverpool fc team are not in any good form. Their form this season has been poor and awkward. They lack consistency when you are talking of them getting result. They can win today and tomorrow when they had another fixture that you are expecting them to win, they will get you disappointed by loosing or securing draw. With this level of not being consistent, I knows that for sure, referring to this season i.e the English premier league 2022/2023 season, Liverpool fc is one team you should exclude from winning the English premier league title race or a team that will create impact as to the chase towards the English premier league trophy. I have seen all this coming the moment Sadio Mane was sold and to make it worse, the owner of the Liverpool fc team, Fenway sport announces that they will be putting the club to sale. It was really difficult for the team to handle all this stress and strain not until injuries added more salt t pain. It was a very difficult season for the Liverpool fc team I must admit. I am just hoping for them to qualify for the Uefa champions league competition as they aim to qualify for it by being among the teams that will be occupying the top 4 position in the English premier league table. If they are able to cement this they will be able to qualify for the upcoming Uefa champions league competition.

With what I said above you will be able to see or spot it that this match is suppose to be a do or die affair for the two side. Many were expecting the match to go in no man's or team favour. What I simply mean is that many were expecting it to be a draw match but I was expecting to see winner from any of the two teams. As per expecting one team to work away with three (3) point, I was never thinking that it will be Liverpool fc that will walk away with the three (3) point, this is holding to the fact that they are not in a good form. Another thing to note is that the Manchester city team have cutting edge over the Liverpool fc team since the match was played at their home soil. Lastly, what I see that affected the Liverpool fc team is the numerous injuries that the Liverpool fc team are facing. Aside the injuries and what I listed above, I know for sure that I shouldn't be saying all this, they are definitely not needed. Nobody will give ears to those excuses, we all knows that all team are battling with one issue or the other.

As per the match between the both team I have already stated all the fact, I am so impressed by the Manchester city team performance, they did well and they are smart to take the opportunity as it present itself to them. This is one reason why I have grown to love the Manchester city team, if you present them with opportunities they will surely act on it by doing justice to it. Give them 1000 opportunities they will surely wants to takes it all. They don't for any reason plays with opportunities at all, this is exactly the message that I am trying to convey to everybody reading this post.

As per what ended the match, the score line ended 4 vs 1 in favour of the Manchester city team. The moment the Liverpool fc team scored from Mohammed Salah opportunity, many fans were happy especially the Arsenal fc fan as they thinks that the Liverpool fc team will be able to hold the Manchester city team to hostage. The assist that brought the goal for the Liverpool fc team came from Diego Jota and Mohammed Salah was able to convert it properly. Painfully, It didn't takes up to ten (10) minutes before the Manchester city side responded through Julian Alvarez goal as the assist came from Jack Grealish. The moment that goal went in, I knows for sure that it is over for the Liverpool fc side.

As we have it, we all knows that Manchester city side don't play with opportunities at all, so they capitalize on that as K. De Bruyne scored from Riyad Mahrez assist in the 46th minute. The moment that goal went in, I knows that the Liverpool fc team are in more trouble. The Manchester city side scored again through Ilkay Gundogan in the 53rd minute and this makes it 3 vs 1 in favour of the Manchester city side. As we have it, the last goal came for the Manchester city team in the 74th minute through Jack Grealish and the assist came from th assist king Itself, K. De Bruyne.

Painfully for the Liverpool fc team, this is what ended the match for both side. The final score is 4 vs 1. It went in the favour of the Manchester city team. With this result, the Manchester city team will really be happy as it kept their English premier league title race alive.
