African Nations Cup update: Cameroon and Burkina Faso get through to the Semi final stage

There is this popular saying that states that when it comes to football or soccer anything is possible. If you have been following up with soccer activities you will see that whosoever that said that quote is definitely saying the truth. He is right 2000% if I am to rate him following the experience that I have gotten from what he said and in relation to when it comes to soccer matches in particular.

The reason why I said what he said is the truth is that if you have been following up with soccer activities you will see that the unexpected always happens. The team that you will underrate by saying they won't progress to any stage or the team that you will say they won't progresses far will end up surprising you while the one you think will do very well won't even get to any stage. This is why I said when it comes to soccer the unexpected always happens and what the person said with regards to soccer is the truth.

Soccer is full of surprises, that is what makes it very interesting. From the look of things we can see that the message I was trying to pass above happened in the ongoing Africa Nations Cup competition that is currently happening in Cameroon. We all are seeing teams that we never thought will get to the Semi final all getting to the Semi final of this competition. I must admit that I am really impressed and this paint the picture clear that when it comes to soccer anything is possible.

The team that we thought will wins this current Africa Nations Cup competition that is happening in Cameroon is Nigeria, where are they in they in the competition right now? They are already out. This shows you that when it is soccer, we should bear it in our mind that anything is possible. The host country Cameroon is one team that I ruled out ever since the start of this competition. Just take a look at them today, they are now in the Semi final of this competition after defeating Gambia in the Quarter final of this competition.

You just need to see how Cameroon put in their all in all in that match and from the look of things the host nation might end up winning this competition. They just have to hold on a little bit till they get to the final and put in more effort. Goal from Ekambi Toko in the 50th and 57th minute gave the host nation the lead as they progresses to the final of the Africa Nations Cup competition which they are currently hosting. I must congratulate them on this, it is not easy achieving such milestone.

The other team here took me by surprise. Burkina Faso is doing the unexpected. I never thought that they will ever get to this stage but they did. Immediately I saw the Quarter final fixture of them being drawn to Tunisia I wrote them off, I said the Tunisia side will surely get them defeated with ease but it happened the other way round. It was Burkina Faso side that progresses to the Semi final of the Africa Nations Cup competition. It was goal from Quattara .D. in the 45 minute plus that gave Burkina Faso the lead. Despite the pressure from Tunisia, the Burkina Faso side were able to hold on as that goal send them into the Semi final stage of this competition.

I am using this medium to congratulate the Cameroon and Burkina Faso team for what they were able to achieve so far. Congrats in getting to the Semi final of this competition, I wish you guys the best. We will keep wishing them the best until the better side gets to the final of this competition and ends up winning it. I see it that the final will be very competitive, as usual, let the better side wins. I know Burkina Faso will love to wins it base on so many reason but getting here is a big achievement for them so far.
