Gabur Gabur falls and Callao caves . My Actifit Report Card: November 3 2024

Again I'm writing well before the day is over. Once it gets hot I'm done.

Now we start the day driving to Peneblanca area. That's where both Gabur Gabur and Callao are.

Our ride arrives at 8am and we head out. Head through the city and then off we go.

But we take side roads so not so busy. At first we are on the valley area so lots of rice areas.

Then things get a little rural.

And it seems they grow a lot of corn there. At the side of the road you can see people drying the corn. I've been told its for animal feed.

Then things get even more rural... and prettier.

Soon we get to the falls and go for a walk through the water and pathways. We leave our stuff in a small ... Nipa hut?

We need to remove our shoes and jeans won't cut it so bathing suit and bare feet it is.

And yes here is proof I was there counting up my steps.

After that we were close to Callao caves.

Of course photos don't take in the dark but steps still count.

Afterwards we go for a boat ride of the area just outside the caves

Then it's getting later and hotter. A stop at a local panciteria and then time to relax before the afternoon heat really takes hold.
