4am is way too early to start your day. My Actifit Report Card: October 7 2024
Only a crazy person is out walking their dog at 4:15am but that was me today.
You see my son decided to go out with his friends the night before. No problem with that but they came home at 2am and decided that would be a good time to play video game and start chatting. Unfortunately their play area is right underneath my bedroom so I woke up way too early (2:15am). To make matters worse they decided that 4am would be a good time to go for McDonalds. Now I don't mind if they eat McDonalds but the dog tried to follow them and ended up trapped in the laundrdy room and then started barking because he doesn't like being trapped in there.
I rescued the dog from the laundry room but he is now awake and wants to go outside. He's scratching at the door to go out. Ugh.
So, this is what it looks like in the way too early hours of the morning.
Pretty quiet and deserted.
But at least its good for some steps to add to Actifit :)
After that it was off to the gym at dawn. After 6 days of weights today was only a cardio day for 30min eliptica and 30 minutes on the bike.
Then it was back to home for a nap (my day started too early). Then time for church (no steps but still nice to go). Then time for a low calorie lunch and Egg white omelettes are the current go to for something with lots of protein and few calories.
Then in the afternoon it was off to the park with my wife and the dog.
Overall not a bad way to get 20K plus steps in a day.
