Moving my son to his first apartment. My Actifit Report Card: March 3 2024
My son now officially has a place of his own away from home. I'm such a proud dad.
Now this day started off as usual with walking the dog. However, my son was home this weekend so we went together. As I was so busy talking to him about moving into his new place in the afternoon I forgot to take a picture in the morning. Oh well, it happens.
In the afternoon it was off to take his belongings to his new place. Sure its just a room with two room mates but it is still a place of his own and a new address that isn't with his parents. A big step.
It is actually very close to his cousins house so that could be a nice bonus. After moving him we actually went to go visit relatives we rarely get to see. It was hard to say why not because they were so close :)
Catching up with family, helping my son move, overall it was a great day.
Unfortunately that also meant that I got home late at night. It was cold and it was starting to snow....and Nico still had to go for his evening walk. That's not a lot of fun.
Luckily there was a little break in the rain/snow whatever it was so Nico and I got to do a late night walk and get some more steps in.
14K steps. Not too bad.
Let's see what tomorrow holds.

Nico has become so accustomed to his walk, not minding the stress you had undergone. Your son definitely would have a different feel for a home. Congratulations to him
I think humans would lead better lives if the followed Nico's example. He enjoys plenty of rest. Enjoys his food. Enjoys his routine and get plent of exercise. He stresses over nothing and always has a happy attitude.
Unfortunately most people don't have someone who pays all the bills for them :)

I guess he has priorities. Computer / Internet is life. Sleeping take second priority :)
