Boxing Day.. My Actifit Report Card: December 26 2023

Holidays are over.

Sort of.

Today is Boxing Day. The day after Christmas and the day that there are an awful lot of sales. The malls are packed. The deals are on. And I choose to stay home because I can get 70% off something I don't need or save 100% by not buying it.

Instead I take my dog for his morning walk and enjoy the park.

After that I head to the recycling depot to get rid of cardboard, bottles, and other recycleables that tended to pile up over the Christmas holiday.

I also had to head to the grocery store. Ran out of milk over the holiday and with the amount my kids drink that's not a good thing.

Once I got back from my errands I came home to this.

I guess Nico decided to has Christmas dinner himself as he didn't get any on Christmas day (or eve for that matter). Of course cleaning it up wasn't the most fun. I could say I told you so to my wife who thought he wouldn't go in the garbage bag....but perhaps that isn't the best idea. Just show her the mess by message and when she comes home all cleaned up.

Other than that there was a protest on the street today.

The local Indian community is protesting against legislation which will promote the idea that your gender at birth is a suggestion from the Doctor and its up to the individual to choose when they get older.

Now, I am old school. I tend to believe in binary with men being men and women being women so I tend to agree with the protest. However, I also believe that people should make their own decisions in life and whether it is right or wrong I'll leave up to the individual.

However, I get a little upset when the government pays for the operation. People can make their own decisions for sure....but why with my tax money?

However, that is a discussion for somewhere other than Actifit.

In the evening time for another walk with the dog. There was a big bring moon tonight. I'm sure a better camera would have done this image more justice. However, this is what I was able to capture.

A little while later the moon was hiding behind some clouds hovering above an apartment complex. I thought it was an even better image.

I''ll let you decide on that one. However, that is the end of my day and the total of over 11K steps.
