Back to the regular routine. My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2023

Back after two weeks away.

My poor actifit rating has taken a nosedive because I was way off grid with no internet.

I did lots of work on the acreage and my smartwatch tells me I did over 10K steps every day. However, without internet to report Actifit doesn't count it. Very sad.

However, back to the routine.

Today started with walking the dog as usual. 5k steps there. However we took him to the pet store to we could wash him. He really enjoyed his time on the 60 acres but he was starting to look and smell a little rough.

After that it was housework. Lots of clothes to wash, bills to pay, paperwork to catch up on.

Then it was off to do some shopping. Mostly I was shopping for soy beans as I need them to make my soy milk.

Then a quick nap before going out with my wife to take the dog for his evening walk.

We have drought conditions going on right now so the grass is the same colour as my dog. Or is it the other way around? Either way things are certainly not as green as they were on my property.

I mean compare that photo to what I took on my acreage.

Not very hard to see that I left the moist green wetlands to come back to the busy dry city.

Quite sad actually but as I'm not retired quiet yet I can't just runaway to far away places and stay there.

Now its time to rest on my couch and enjoy Netflix again! Life is quite but a little too quiet without internet for two weeks.
