My Actifit Report Card: March 4 2025
The sun was shining so brightly in the morning that it was impossible to stay indoors. I decided to go for a walk with my child and the dog. The weather was warm, and a light breeze was pleasantly refreshing. We walked along the sidewalk, listening to the birds singing in the trees. My child curiously observed passersby, dogs, and passing cars, sometimes pointing at something that caught their attention. The dog happily ran ahead, sniffing the grass and bushes.
Despite the good weather, my mind felt heavy. The news about the war in Ukraine would not leave my thoughts. It seems like every day things are only getting worse, and I cannot find the words to express how much it pains me. Each new piece of news brings a feeling of helplessness. I try not to show my emotions to my child, but inside, everything tightens with sorrow. We just keep walking, but thoughts of the suffering people there do not let go.
I am deeply worried that the United States has stopped supplying weapons. The entire day, I live in fear because of the constant shelling, which happens several times a day, especially at night. I feel a deep sense of disappointment knowing that everything we have endured seems to have been for nothing. The only reason I keep going is my daughter. I try to smile for her, but it is so difficult.
After the walk, we returned home. The entire evening was spent on household chores. I had to prepare dinner, clean the apartment, and mop the floors. These daily tasks provided a slight distraction, but the heaviness did not go away. I tried to focus on cooking, but my thoughts kept returning to those who are in distress.
When dinner was ready, we sat down as a family at the table. The food turned out delicious, my child ate with a good appetite, and the dog settled nearby, hoping for a treat. After dinner, we watched a movie together. For a while, I managed to get immersed in the plot, to distract myself, to feel the warmth of my loved ones nearby. That moment was especially precious because, even in difficult times, family remains the support that holds us together.
Before going to sleep, I once again thought about what is happening in the world. I wanted to believe that one day this would all end, that peace would come, and people would no longer have to suffer. These thoughts stayed with me as I fell asleep.
Hope you have good and peaceful night and day! Hugs

Looks like you are from Kharkov, my birthplace :) It is really unfortunate that Trump paused weapons shipments to Ukraine, for the record I voted for Kamala...
Yes its Kharkiv;) We all pray for best! hugs
Yes, she lives in Kharkiv, which is not very far from where I used to live. She is still in Kharkiv though but I am not :( ... Trump and Vance are like (can't say that) .... I didn't like what behavior they showcased last time... @seattlea
