I thought Arteta summed it up pretty well when he said that you guys matched Liverpool box to box but not within either penalty area.
Liverpool just had that extra quality but it’s fine margins at this level.
This Arsenal team reminds me a bit of Pochettino’s early Spurs squads, full of young players who are willing to run for their manager but maybe just lacking that bit of experience and know how in those tight matches. We never solved that problem hence we never won anything!

I was surprised that SPurs actually parted ways with Pochetinno. Surprised and happy because it was quite evident that he was on track to getting things right.
At Arsenal, we're still pretty young but it is as you described it. The team works hard and that enables us to grind out results against "smaller teams". Big games requires experience and they'll learn from games like these.
