Hello Everyone and welcome to the 2nd edition of the Monday Sports Talk Social Quiz.
Firstly just a big shout out to everyone who supported and took part in last week's quiz. We had a good number of entries (as you'll see below) and I'm sure over time we can grow the number of people taking part and interacting within the community more generally. Indeed it was good to see a couple of new faces taking part in the quiz also then started popping up in the comments sections of other blogs within the community!

Monday Sports Talk Social Quiz #2
You can read the rules for the quiz here, otherwise let's crack on with this week's questions.
Question 1 - Spot the ball (maximum 1 guess per person)
There are 3 images below all taken as stills from BT Sport highlights. Quite simply you need to identify where the ball is in each picture and you'll see I've labelled each possible location with a letter.
A correct answer will be the first person to identify where all 3 balls are! If no one gets all 3, then the prize and point will go to the first person to get the most correct.
An example answer to this question would be - ADG (if you think the balls are behind those letters)

Below are 3 sporting rivalries where the names of the athletes have been put in anagram form.
Simply re-arrange the letters in each anagram to get the names. To help, the sports for which they are best known for is included.

I don't know about football and i would like to see cricket quiz 🤣🤣 if possible.
You don’t need to know anything about football to answer question 1. Just look at the 3 pictures and guess where the ball is in each one!
I’d love to do one about cricket and only cricket but I don’t think we have a big enough community yet. Maybe one day 😀

I thought “got weirdos” was a fairly appropriate anagram for Tiger Woods

Ok, so for question 5, I'm going to say Toronto Raptors!
Probably wrong, came up with some rainman type explanation to do with how many letters were in the name Toronto Raptors (14)
Let me explain so that ye can point and laugh and call the men in white coats! :)
You named 8 teams, one missing, so I figured three groups of three teams with a correlation between each trio. Couldn't spot anything about geography of each team, so started counting the letters in each name and each trio had a team with 14 letters, except last trio.... Only team left with 14 letters was Toronto Raptors..

Well you've got the correct answer but for the wrong reason 😂 So you can have 10K and a point for that but I'll offer up another 10K for anyone who can give the correct reason
