The Great Wall of China is one of the seven ancient wonders of the world.
In the north of China, the country of the Mongol nation is inhabited by Mongolia.
The nomadic people of this nation, bandits, robbers and sometimes even the rulers of this country would attack China whenever they got the opportunity and destroy the peace of the Chinese people.
The rulers of China thought to remedy this by building a long wall in the north of China.
It should be remembered that in ancient times, either walls were built as a barrier or trenches were dug around cities to prevent outside invaders.
So the Chinese built the wall. The first ruler of China, whose reign was from 221 to 206 BC, built this wall.
After that, the wall was extended by almost every Chinese ruler.
But most of the wall was built during the reign of the Ming emperors (1368 to 1644), thus the construction period of this wall spans about two thousand years.
This wall is made of bricks and stones.
The Great Wall of China was built to protect the country.
Therefore, military forts, roads and towers were built for guards at some distance so that the guards could stand on these towers and towers and keep an eye on the passing convoys.
The total length of this wall is about 5500 miles (8850 km).

This wall starts from SHANHAGUAN, a place in the east of China, which is near the YALU RIVER (YALU RIVER), and goes to LOPIAKE, a place in the west. passes According to the Archaological Survey of China, the total length of this wall is also estimated to be 13,171 miles (21,196 km). This wall is 25 to 50 feet high and 15 to 30 feet wide.
The Great Wall passes north of Beijing at a distance of 70 kilometers from the city. This wall built by human hands has now fallen into disrepair after many centuries. But the Chinese government has repaired about eighty-seven kilometers of the wall for the sake of tourists. 300,000 soldiers and 500,000 people participated in the construction of this wall.
In 1987, UNESCO included this wall in the list of world heritage (WORLD HERITAGE).
Because the history and culture of China is preserved in this fortress-like wall.
Thousands of tourists visit this wall every day.
An explanation: It is said that the Great Wall of China is visible from the surface of the Moon, but this is only a hypothesis.
This has nothing to do with reality.
Astronauts of NASA said that this area can be identified, but the Great Wall of China is not clearly visible to the human eye.
A Chinese astronaut YANG LIWEI also revealed that this wall is not visible from space.
He said that the faint shape of this wall is visible while orbiting the Earth.
But this wall is impossible to see when we go further out of Earth's orbit.
