Tottenham went to 4th round of FA CUP
Tottenham Hotspur won Middleborough in replay match of 3rd round of FA Cup. Thanks to early goals by Lo Celso and Lamela Spurs secured comfortable lead. North London side missed a lot of good goal opportunities and get in trouble near the end when Boro scored after great shoot outside of box. Next rival for Spurs will be Southampton which won Tottenham recently on their ground with 1:0.
What we could see in this game was very good performance by Japhet Tanganga who (thanks God) reaplaced Serge Aurier on right back position of Spurs defense. Man looks like hot prospect who can play on right back or in center of defense. He was pretty good against Liverpool too. In that game he saved Spurs 2 times, before Liverpool striker tricked him to score only goal in the game. I don't blame him for that because he thought he can get to the ball, but Firmino was to skillful in that situation. What Tanganga did great in that game was marking Liverpool best player S. Mane. Tanganga was man of the match in this FA Cup clash, despite only Boro goal came from shot which passed near him. He is young player who will gain experianse with more games, but even at this point I would dare to say he is the best Spurs defender at the moment.
On the other hand we saw once more why Davinson Sanchez should not play in Premier League. That lad is in constant quarrel with the ball. Way how he miserable missed clear header in first half was really humiliating for professional football player. He jumped, but nasty ball was (again) to high for him (just like against Arsenal), but fortunately Boro player didn't capitalize on that blunder. If Spurs had some Premier League squad in front of them I have no doubt this would be easy goal for other side. If you think that was all from Sanchez you are wrong. Second half ball is cumming toward him, but he missed it and fortunately it flied in corner and not in goal after his pathetic clearing attempt. He was all alone in this situation too. Third mistake was bad marking after corner where Boro player almost scored a goal, but ball flied fortunately over bar. This is not first time this Colombian player is making such mistakes. I am really feed up with him and see no point what this player is searching in Spurs shirt. Someone really need to catch up that scout who said this player is worth more than 50,000,000 and should play for Spurs.

I tried to upload it on d-tube but I constantly receive errors during upload attempts in Chromium and in Mozila Firefox saying "You need to upload video first" or "You need to upload snap" despite all is uploaded. Then annoying thing is moving in circles forever not uploading content. Developers should really check that platform or make it more user friendly.
Other player who did not play to well was Sessegnion. Boro player sent him to buy him breakfast in first half, but chance did not end up with goal. Then in second half he missed entire goal from 2-3 meters from goal line. That was rare seen miss in football games. However he is young, need experience and I would always give him advantage over Rose who can't complete single pass on left side.
Next Spurs game will be against Manchester City. This game will show all holes in Spurs defense. I just hope it will not end up in catastrophic way for Tottenham.
