Krzysztof Piątek is to expensive for Tottenham

AC Milan had awful season, they are in second part of Serie A table. In attempt to turn things around they signed veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic. That was to much for Krzysztof Piątek who wants to leave club now. He was very good in Cracovia and Genoa, but not so good in Milan. On the other side Spurs boss Jose Mourinho said Spurs don't have replacement for injured H.Kane who might return into squad in April. According to Mou Troy Parrot is not good enough and ready to start games and Son or Lucas are not strikers and can't be converted into H.Kane.

That was clear signal that Spurs need to go to market in attempt to get real striker who can replace H.Kane while he is absent. They came to Milan in attempt to sign 24 years old Polish striker. However two sides didn't agree on terms because asking price of 30,000,000 is to much for Spurs owner Daniel Levy.

Last terrifying rumors are saying that Spurs now target Benteke from Crystal Palace. I might be wrong, but I don't remember when he scored goal last time ?I remember that guy while playing for Liverpool. Some local Liverpool fans were heartsick because of him. I think his career is in big decline since his last Liverpool season. I dare to say that bringing him into Spurs would be great mistake.

If Levy don't want to spend serious money for some developed striker he can go to Championship and try to find one for lower price there. Mourinho is big fan of strong strikers which can carry two defenders on back (Drogba, Lukaku types ). Look into Championship shows one person who could fit into his vision. That is Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. Very good player who always subordinate his quality to team, strong, tall, constant bully for defenders with decent skill and shooting ability. Fact that he didn't succeed in Newcastle is because of Rafa Bentiez who didn't give him chance to play.

Trouble in this could be relative high price of player and uncertainty if he would be ready to sit on bench when H.Kane recovers. Advantage is that he already played in Premier League and does not need adjustment period. I can imagine him in some bigger club like Spurs like destroyer of any defense. Didn't he score a goal against Tottenham last season in Spurs-Fuham 3:1 game ?

What do you think could Serbian international become Spurs during this transfer window ? Which player would you sign if you are Mourinho or Levy in this situation when you don't want to spend 30,000,000, but want decent striker ?
