"Football gentleman" from England
My favorite results of football mathes
My favorite results of football matches are 4:3 and 3:4. It has long history from nineties. Odd on this correct score on
betting houses is 100. There is a theory that illegal betting syndicate exist in Malaysia, which is very influential in various leagues in Europe and wider. England leagues are no exception from it's influence. According to that theory people who participate in ordering particular result of football game call themselves "Gentleman". Theory says that gentleman loves to play correct score 4:3 or 3:4 as well as other type of bets like 7 or more goals or one team leads at half time and other wins at the end. Those last two bets have usually odd of around 30. That way they ensure win even if some player who is not in the game score goal more and make it on example 5:3 or 4:4.
Football gentleman in England
Now when you know what football gentleman are, lets look on this season so far to try to find out which clubs in England did such results this season. Sad thing is no club from Premier League did it so far, but if we dive into lower leagues we can see big gentleman there. League two is probably far bellow UEFA and FA radar and it's probably easier to influence outcome of game there. Shrewsbury Town and Southend Utd made it 2 times! Southend was also close to do it 2 more times, but their games ended with one goal lower with 4:2,2:4 or 3:3. Bristol Rovers did it once and was close to do it again 2 times.
Club 4:3,3:4 4:2,2:4,3:3
Shrewsbury 2 0
Southend Utd 2 2
Bristol Rovers 1 2
Blackpool 1 0
Peterborough 1 1
Wycombe 1 1
Oxford Utd 0 2
Coventry City 0 2
Burton Albion 0 2
Portsmouth 0 1
Tranmere 0 1
Fleetwood 0 1
Accrington 0 1
Here are dates with results and correct scores:
Sa 23 Nov Shrewsbury - Bristol Rovers 3 - 4 (HT: 1-2)
Sa 2 Nov Blackpool - Peterborough 4 - 3 (HT: 2-2)
Tu 17 Sep Shrewsbury - Southend Utd 4 - 3 (HT: 2-1)
Sa 24 Aug Wycombe - Southend Utd 4 - 3 (HT: 1-2)
Th 26 Dec Burton Albion - Tranmere 4 - 2 (HT: 1-1)
Sa 7 Dec Bristol Rovers - Southend Utd 4 - 2 (HT: 0-2)
Sa 5 Oct Wycombe - Peterborough 3 - 3 (HT: 0-2)
Sa 14 Sep Southend Utd - Fleetwood 3 - 3 (HT: 1-2)

Tu 20 Aug Portsmouth - Coventry City 3 - 3 (HT: 2-1)
Tu 20 Aug Oxford Utd - Burton Albion 2 - 4 (HT: 0-1)
While lot of players concentrate on biggest games from top leagues, it seems that real treasure is hiding in lower leagues with clubs like Shrewsbury, Southend Utd and Bristol Rovers.
Note: This article is pure fiction not connected with reality and is based on theory of one Serbian sport tv commentator who told story about "one eyed" and "illgeal Malaysian gambling syndicate" and whose comment on Liverpool-Newcastle 4:3 game many years ago was "famous game which celebrated some people connected to it in one or other way".
What do you think which clubs will next make glorious "football gentleman" game ? Hint: Ancelotti was in Napoli and now is in Everton, City has goalkeeper suspended and lost the title. :)
