I have seen these Mexico Olympic commemorative coins around and I was finally able to pick one up 🎉

These coins are .720 silver and .280 copper with an actual silver weight (ASW) just over half an ounce, 0.5209 oz to be exact.

The [Mexico Mint] (http://www.gob.mx/cmm) struck a measly 27 million of these xD

Current melt value for this coin is ~$14 and they are selling for as low as $18 on ebay and they seem to be in that neighborhood on most sites.

This coin is uncirculated, has the cartwheel effect, and some sexy edge lettering, hubba hubba 😍

A fascinating reverse of an ancient Aztec Ball player of a brutal sport known simply as the Ball game, where the stakes made and lost fortunes, tribal alliances were made or lost, part religion, part spectacle, the winners were showered with wealth and status and the losers often lose their lives. The rubber ball is made from a human skull.

It could happen. After all the Canadian women won a gold medal in soccer..

Oh Mexico and the Olympics.. that brings us to today's unnecessary racist joke of the day...

How come Mexico never wins any gold metals at the Olympics?

Because anyone that can run, jump or swim is already here...

😆 🤣 😂

Okay, I'll show myself out.

Murica.

Nice! I love that coin and have one myself! Mexican silver is always fun to collect. Perfect timing on this one since they have those Olympics over in Paris, of which I have watched absolutely none....
