The Belgian quickly cemented his position in Chelsea supporters' hearts. His stunning deception, unrestrained dribbling, and propensity for the spectacular goal helped Stamford Bridge win more hardware.
Hazard spent seven great years with Chelsea, making 352 games, scoring 110 goals, and earning four Player of the Year awards. He finished his career with a match-winning performance in the 2019 Europa League final against Arsenal after winning the Premier League thrice, the FA Cup, and the League Cup.
Hazard left for Real Madrid in the 2019 summer transfer window. However, his place in Chelsea history and the praise he would garner from fans were already firmly established. At Stamford Bridge, he would always be welcome to return. It has been just over four years since Hazard left Chelsea. He decided to stop his illustrious playing career after leaving Real Madrid at the end of the previous campaign. You must pay attention to your inner voice and quit when it's appropriate, Hazard urged on Instagram. I have decided to finish my career as a professional player after 16 years and more than 700 games. I was able to fulfil my dream, and I have enjoyed playing on numerous fields all over the world. Thank you to everyone for these wonderful moments; I will miss you all. Throughout my career, I had the good fortune to work with excellent management, coaches, and teammates. You all will be missed. As well as thanking the RBFA for my Belgian Selection, I also want to thank the clubs I've played for, including LOSC, Chelsea, and Real Madrid. A particular thank you to my friends, family, advisors, and those who have stood by me through good and difficult times.
Finally, I want to express my gratitude to all of you, my fans, for supporting me throughout the years and for your support wherever I have performed. I should spend time with my loved ones and try new things right now. Soon, my friends, I'll see you off the pitch.
