Chelsea Football Specials 4

Hey everyone,

I am patiently awaiting the second match of the pre-season for Chelsea football club tonight at 7:00 pm American time and tomorrow at 12:00 am West Africa time. As the Blues struggled to a mediocre finish last season, Pochettino has had a fortnight on the training pitch to transform his team.

Levi Colwill and Christopher Nkunku are among the promising new faces set to play, providing much-needed fresh blood on both sides.

Meanwhile, due to knee injuries suffered during pre-season training, Pochettino is without Reece James in the first game and Wesley Fofana, with Fofana on the sidelines for several months after surgery. In addition, Armando Broja and Benoit Badiashile were on the bench in preparation for next season, while Hakim Ziyech, Calum Hudson-Odoi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who recently left on a permanent basis, and Romelu Lukaku were left at home as they continue their recovery from last year's injury.

I am sure among the new arrivals are Malo Gusto, Andrey Santos, Nkunku who already hit the ground running, and Nicolas Jackson who should make their pre-season debuts tonight; I personally want to see Nkunku play tonight but I also know Nkunku is an established member of the squad already and Poch will want to see the likes of Santos, Jackson more on the pitch.

For the Chelsea players, the match gives a valuable chance to try basically everything done on the preparation pitches. Also, there has been no ease up since the Blues landed in the U.S. on Monday night.
