The perfect start to the new year, with Midnight River storming home to win by just over two lengths from a battling Stolen Silver, who led 3 times during the race. However, our pick bided his time runnning in midfield for much of the race, before challenging 3 from home, then taking the lead 2 out. Even a meandering route to the last fence wasn't going to prevent him from reaching the line first.
