Was never seriously involved, racing and staying in midfield, despite being urged on from 2f out, and making a bit of forward progress, finishing 7th of the 20 runners.

Status quo remains at the top of the leaderboard, and with just 1 week to go it's still all to play for the top two, with still just over £6 seperating them. Expert Eye goes with a big priced selection today (currently 16/1), while Garry Owen has a runner in the same race which could really put the cat among the pigeons if that wins @ 9/2.

Comments	Won his first 4 starts having changed yards, 3 of those on trips of 2m. Pipped on the line in last outing at Sandown in August. Back up in trip this time round, and handicapper has kept him on the same rating as that run, so expected to be there or there abouts. Has drifted a touch in the markets since I placed my bet, and an each-way punt would be an excellent option (my bookie is paying 5 places so I've jumped on that as well for this one as extra cover).
