The Blues suffer defeat yet again

Words can't express how heartbroken I feel now. I was super pumped and excited for the game between Liverpool and Chelsea. I was looking forward to the game all week. We have played Liverpool in three domestic cup finals in the last two seasons and we've lost all. That is a different level of pain.

We started the game off on the back foot. Ours was the busiest keeper among the two. Gradually, we wore into the game and had some chances, we even got a goal wrongly choked off as offside. They had the same too anyway. We had five big chances missed compared to their one. I thought the game was going to penalties but a late goal by Virgil Van Dijk won them the trophy. I have seen my team fall to defeat to the same team on three different occasions in recent years. Awful feeling.
