What a game!!! What a weekend. What a time to be alive, XD. Hey guys, welcome to another football talk with Stevenson. I mean, since I haven't had the free time to take photos so much or read a book, I might as well talk about another thing I love football. Happy Easter to you all. I'm still enjoying the holidays, but would be getting to work tomorrow. I so badly wish it wouldn't end, lol.

INTRO

The Premier League is truly a gift that keeps giving. The weekend was packed with games and the games surely delivered. Sundays cracker was the main talking point. Arsenal traveled to Anfield to try and extend thier lead at the summit of the league but Liverpool had other ideas.

THE WEEKEND GAMES

The weekend started off with an early kickoff at Old Trafford which saw Man United take all three points thanks to goals from Scott Mctominay and Anthony Martial. Same as Aston villa, while Newcastle and West Ham also picked all three points on thier travels. Tottenham crossed the line against Brighton thanks to the brilliance of Son and Harry Kane. The former, hitting a century of goals in the Pl and breaking numerous records along the way. My dear Chelsea suffered yet another defeat at Molineux in what has being a rather disastrous season for the blues. Bournemouth compounded more woes on Leicester with thier one nil victory while Champions, City, thrashed Southampton Four goals to one. A KDB and Erling Haaland masterclass.
Sundays Cracker
The day started off with Crystal Palace getting a thumping victory at Elland round. Making it two wins from two for Roy Hogsons boys after lossing thier previous four games. And finally, the game of the week. Arsenal traveled to Anfield, a place where they have struggled in recent years. Arsenal were looking to extend their lead at the top, with City hot on thier heels, and it looked like they were going to breeze past the abysmal reds after striking twice after just twenty eight minutes. With Gabriel Jesus finding the target again in a poetic Easter celebration, but Arsenal's joy was cut off when Salah scored before the break. He did also go on and missed a penalty, but a late Bobby Firmino header ensured the spoils were shared. Liverpool were actually dominant in the second half, with heroics from Aaron Ramsdale ensuring the gunners did not suffer yet another defeat at Anfield. A thrilling game of football.

Now we all turn out eyes to the midweek champions league titan clash. What a game we have on our hands. Inter Milan travel to Benfica while the German Champions face off against the English Champions at Manchester. What a game of football that would be. I'm not going to be missing it. I reckon you wouldn't want to either. Thank you for reading my football ramblings. I enjoyed writing it, hope you enjoyed reading it too. Let's discuss down in the comments. What are your predictions for the upcoming UCL games?

I was surprised by how Man United seated Bentford. I expected more from them. Maybe the United team was too good for them. Arsenal should have lost against Liverpool. Salah is truly a different version of his normal self and Chelsea, I better not start commenting on that one.😤

Hello,
Quick run down of events. Nice brevity. My heart goes out to Leicester City, their worst dreams could very well come to pass.
Moyes is beginning to put one or two results together. He's such a monster in Europe, but he's been underwhelming in the EPL. I hope he wins sufficient games to be allowed to continue as coach, after the summer.
As for my personal preference? Now that poor officiating in that Brentford match comes to the fore. We have to keep it going now, the coach now famed with learning fast. My preference? It's been all over here, that now some refer to me as This Arsenal.

Cheers man
