I keep putting off writing this post, but luckily this week is the international break and we've had some epic results thus far. Last weekend's games was quite dramatic. We had some shocking results and some really enthralling encounters. Of course, the cherry on top was the heavy weights clash on Sunday. Game week three delivered and we loved it. Let's run through the top EPL games from last time out, as we anticipate this weekend's battle.

ARS Vs BRIGHTON: 1-1

Game week 3 kicked off with the early weekend game that saw the seagulls travel to the Emirates to take on high-flying Arsenal. The game delivered as expected with both teams finding the back of the net. Mikel Arteta's men dropped their first point of the season as Declan Rice saw red after receiving a second yellow card for dissent. The gunners will travel to Tottenham on Sunday without their key man.

EVERTON Vs BOURNEMOUTH: 2-3

A thrilling encounter between two teams trying to prove a point this season. A game which saw Sean Dyche's men take a two goals lead early in the second half and it was looking like a comfortable evening for the toffees but the cherries had other plans, as they came from two goals down from late on in the game to take all three points. Everton will be kicking themselves after that one.

WHU Vs Man City: 1-3

Elsewhere, City made it three out of three as they maintained their perfect record in the league so far. Earling Haaland was the headline grabber as he picked up the match ball yet again. Making it a hatrick in back to back games. He now has seven goals in three games so far this season 🤯. He smashed numerous records also. One that really caught my eye was him placing third in most hattrick scored by overseas players in Premier League history. Now that's not the mind boggling part; get this, he did it in sixty-eight games 🤯. For context, the first position, Sergio Aguero, with twelve hattrick, managed that in two hundred and seventy five games. Insane. He is now the top scorer across Europes top five leagues. A robot 🤖.

NEWCASTLE Vs TOTTENHAM: 2-1

Sunday kicked off with an enthralling encounter at Saint James park. Eddie Howe's men picked up all three points thanks to Alexander Isaks winner. The magpies dominated proceedings for majority of the game, as they earned their second win of the season after a frustrating draw in their last outing. On the other hand, Ange's boys couldn't carry on the momentum from thier four goals thrashing of Everton last time out. A good game still.

CHELSEA Vs CRY PALACE: 1-1

Ohhhh, dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. My dear ol' Chelsea frustrating me again. The blues looked like they had found their attacking groove after their GW1 stumble, after the eight goal thriller at Molieneux, which they came up prompt, six goals to two. The game hinted on great things to come from this Chelsea side with so much attacking talents, but they were held to a frustrating draw after Eberechi Eze cancelled out Nicholas Jackson's first half header. The Eagles picked up their first point of the season thanks to Eze's stunner.

MAN UNITED Vs LIVERPOOL: 0-3

The big game of the weekend. Boy, did it deliver. Arne Slot's first big game and it was a cruise for him. Liverpool dominated the game from the start to finish. Mo Salah looks to be aging like fine wine and he haunts United yet again. Casemiro looks to have lost his touch as he continues to struggle with form, giving away two goals in the first half. A great game to watch this.
