RE: Morning Run: A load of rubbish

I tend to do 6 or 7km runs in the week and then at least 10km at the weekend. Starting too fast is a common mistake and I do it too. I take a while to warm up and get going properly. I'm worn out by the end, but then I can take time to recover, although I may well have jobs to do. I'll keep on trying to do this to maintain my fitness and not worry too much about things like races.

well the few races I have been in I was never going to win. I always say that I am in it to complete, not to compete.
That's a good attitude.
