steevc just finished a 7.09km run, that lasted for 42 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 548.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
My legs are still feeling the effects of my long run on Sunday. We were really lucky with the weather as it rained a lot either side of that. The photo is from fairly early into it when I was still keeping up with those two guys. The North Herts Road Runners who put on the event provide free photos. With other races you may have to pay for the official photos.

I had a few days off running. Today the aim was just to get out there and see how I was feeling. The weather was good, but there were lots of little flies around and I am sure I swallowed a few of them.

I did the usual loop around Fairfield and running up the hill was not too bad. My hip is still not totally right, but it does not hurt. My feet are fine, but I had opted for different shoes anyway.

There were a few people out there, but I am not sure I saw any other runners. Everything is so green right now and you can almost hear the plants growing as they suck up all the rain. A couple of drains near home are overflowing as it runs off the fields, but we are not flooded.

I aim to be running again at parkrun on Saturday. I suspect the course will be 'soft', but I hope we do not have the water hazards.

Run free.

With all the rain we've had it's all growing like mad. The course is mostly in the countryside.

Maybe if you hadn't bothered wasting your energy waving you would have been able to keep up with them! :) I'm just kidding. Nice job on your run! I skipped my workout this morning, but I was solid the first three days this week and I am sure I will workout tomorrow morning. I've been doing more upper body weight training with some light running in place thrown in between each set.

Actually I do wonder how efficient my running is and how it could improve.

You must be getting pretty strong with all these workouts you do.

I wouldn't say that, but I do feel like I am more toned up there. I also feel like it is easier to do the current weight I am at. I might have to raise the machine up a notch.

By the way, you always going alone and sometime with your dog, today you are with your friends, so today must have been a very good time. Today the place is much more beautiful because of the greenery.

I don't have a dog! The cat would not like that.

Does the dog have a number too? Looks like it's running along with you lot 😂

It didn't have a number, but it was on a waist harness to its owner. There's a whole sport of running with dogs.

Cheers. I may have passed them at some point, but they left me behind eventually.
