steevc just finished a 5.47km run, that lasted for 32 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 384.0 calories.

Description from Strava:

It is a really long time since I went for a run in my lunch break from the office. I am there a couple of days each week and I needed to fit in another session each week.

They still have the changing rooms with showers in the car park. There was nobody there when I went down, but I think some who cycle to work get changed there. I had it in mind to run up to Fairlands Valley Park. I had forgotten just how much of a climb that is and I found it hard work.

It is nice up by the lake. I just passed through and then it was back down the hill and so a bit easier coming back.

The changing room was still empty and I was really in need of a shower. I got in and turned it on only to get nothing! That had me worried. I wrapped a towel around me and tried the next cubicle. Luckily that shower was working, so I had to move all my stuff over. Next time I will check the shower first.

Run free!

I think it is refreshing to have an opportunity to take shower and just relax for a moment under water. I do not know if the weather is still warm over there but even if not after shower you have really satisfying feeling.

I like that look of this Strava thing. I’d that related to Actifit or is it a totally different thing? There are a few of these activity based platform but the Hive ones are miles ahead since others are still trying to figure out their token and blockchain options or attract users.

Strava2hive is not linked in with Actifit. It does not have its own token, but there are some HIVE rewards distributed each week. It's just a convenient way to blog an activity. Those already using Strava have an easy way to start using Hive.

Ah cool. It's similar to the Wordpress plugin in that way.

Ah yes, we get that quite frequently when we are camping. We pretty much always check the shower first now before we get all undressed and stuff. You just never know what you are going to get with those "public" facilities!
