Description from Strava:
Today started off a little misty, but it was not cold. As usual I had been pondering where to go for my longer run and I decided to head up to Langford. I like the track by the lakes as it is quiet up there.
I was still feeling the effects of my run yesterday, so I took it easy to start with. I did make the effort to jog up the steps on the railway bridge as that is a good workout. We had a little rain yesterday, but it has not made too much difference. Up by the lakes I had to make way for a couple of vehicles and saw a couple of other runners. There was also this little paddle boat on the water. I do not know what that is for. Any ideas?
When I got to Langford I stayed on the road as I was not feeling up to the longer route I do across the fields. When I got back to Henlow I went back to the track by Champney's spa and then onto the parkrun course to do it in reverse. That gives a different view.
I still had enough energy to jog up the bridge again and then take the longer way home to stretch it out a little. I was not going for speed today, but I did manage a personal record on one stretch that I do not do so often.
Run free and have a nice Sunday.
