Morning Run: Twinge
steevc just finished a 6.08km run, that lasted for 41 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 481.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
I was at the pub jam session last night. It was good fun even though there were only a few of us. That means we each play more songs and I managed to do all mine from memory, although I struggled on a couple.
This morning it was a bit damp out, but not raining. It was time to get back to some intervals and I headed to the nearest hill for that. Running up that several times is hard work and I took it very easy coming down. I have been quicker, but this was not too bad with my current fitness.
I stretched out the jog home to get some extra distance for the Move-ember challenge. I had noticed this old Vauxhall Astra near us. There used to be loads of them on the roads, but they seem rare now. This one looks to be in good condition, but cars of that era may not last as well as modern ones. Our current Honda is 20 years old and still going well.
After breakfast I had my shower and got a twinge in my back as I bent to do my legs. That is never a good thing. It is still not right, so I shall take it easy for a couple of days. The parkrun needed volunteers, so I will be a tail walker this time. I hope I am up to doing that. Back problems can be tricky.
Run free and stay well.

Keep running dude :)
41 minutes is a damn long time to be spent running. You're doing well
Yes, take lt easy for few days, just to be sure the twinge don't comes up another time, good afternoon from here, greetings
I hope you get your back issue figured out. I've been dealing with mine for a couple of weeks now and it is no fun. Mornings are the worst until I get up and get the blood flowing again.
I must have just twisted something. I'm limping around at the moment, so no running for a while.
I think that is one of the worst parts for me, not actually knowing what I did to hurt it. Usually I will do something during the day and it doesn't start hurting till that night. If it starts hurting right away, then I know I really screwed it up!
I've hurt it before doing something strenuous, but this was just my normal shower and it was immediate. I'm hoping it eases off soon.
STOP THE ABUSE ON HIVE
Oof, back tweaks blow. Hoping you recover quick!
Cheers. I'm not even sure what I did as it's the same as I always do to wash my legs.

I'm a big fan of keeping cars going. Once you get past 10 years the car is pretty much paying for itself over and over again. Sure there are maintenance things to take care of in an older car, but that is still less expensive than newer cars these days.
