steevc just finished a 7.01km run, that lasted for 43 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 568.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It was a little misty out there, but not cold. I did the usual loop, but then realised that the kids are off school, so other routes would have been possible without crowds. It is generally pretty quiet around here if you miss the busy school times, so you are not fighting crowds.

As I walked up to the Chinese to get dinner last night I saw a guy who is always out running. I jogged along side him to ask if he had tried parkrun. He had not heard of it, so maybe I converted him to the cult. He is pretty quick anyway.

My run was uneventful. I saw some squirrels and a few other runners as well as some of the regular dogs.

I was slightly quicker than some recent runs on that route. I have been feeling a little stronger lately. Doing an extra run each week may make a difference. I try to do some pushups most days and those felt a little easier this week. I do not do much other strength work.

The day brightened up later and this afternoon the solar panels are working well. Having the extra panels makes a difference on dull days.

Run free and be excellent to one another.

Nice job on your run. I've been taking it easy the last two days as I did something to my back, but I actually think I need to get back at it so I can keep the muscles from getting stiff. It hurts something fierce each morning when I get up.

Look after your back! We humans are prone to issues there. I still have my hip tendon issue, but it doesn't seem to get any worse when I run, so I will keep going.

The funny thing is, this time it is the other side of my back versus the side that usually gives me trouble. If it isn't better by next week I will probably make an appointment to see the chiropractor.
