Lunch Run: Hill loop
steevc just finished a 5.7km run, that lasted for 34 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 424.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
I did watch the Euro final and it is not 'coming home', again. It was a good match, but Spain were the better team. We were just watching the England ladies playing in a qualifier for their tournament next year. The footie never stops.
I was in the office again and so needed to run from there. We had a big storm last night with a lot of rain, so I was unsure what the weather would do. It turned out okay in the end, but one of the underpasses was partly flooded. I could still get through without paddling.
I have done this loop plenty of times. It is a long slog up the hill to the lake, but it makes for a good workout. At least I get to go down the hill too, but then I have a climb at the end. Unlike electric cars I cannot store that downhill energy.
The pace was not too bad today, but I can see on Strava that I was a fair bit quicker a couple of years ago. I will try to keep up the 3 or 4 sessions each week to try and improve. I may actually run at parkrun this week after missing a few through holiday and volunteering.
Have a great week and run free!

I was able to make it "running" at about 4 MPH for five minutes straight today. That was a personal best for me. Nice job on your run too!
Well done! I hope you see improvements too.
Fingers crossed!
