Morning Run: parkrun 116 at Henlow

Description from Strava:
I woke this morning to lots of reports on the socials of the northern lights being seen around the UK. I totally missed it, but there may be a chance of more tonight. It is something I have never witnessed, even when I went skiing in Finland.

The weather is lovely this morning, if a little warm for my tastes when running. As I walked down there I saw a lot of people in club shirts. We had a contingent from Leighton Fun Runners with us today.

The course was looking pretty good with just the usual soft spots. I gave it what I had and it was not too bad. I tried keeping up with a couple of people to motivate me. The result was my fastest time there this year. Last week was quicker, but it was on paths. I am happy with any improvement.

I am now on a busy train to London for a theatre trip.

Looks like a good turnout. The weather has improved suddenly and mornings now seem like the perfect running conditions ( for the next few days) :)
