steevc just finished a 7.26km run, that lasted for 45 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 550.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
As previously mentioned the local parkrun was cancelled due to conditions after the recent storm. I am not feeling at full strength, but went for a run anyway as I seek to improve again. It was a little cool out there. I headed over to Stotfold. There were not too many people about, but I saw a few other runners. On the way back it started to rain a little. My other half is doing Couch to 5k again, but she does not like to run with me as she goes slower.

We took delivery of our new car this week. It is an all electric MG4. My son will be using it the most, but we went for a short drive. It has so many gadgets compared to our old car, so we need to get used to those. I will do a full report later. Our solar panel installation has been put back as there was an issue with where the battery should go. I hope to get that sorted fairly soon.

Today we went to the local independent cinema to see Wonka. This is the third cinema version of Willy Wonka, but is set before the Roald Dahl books. There are lots of songs, but it includes versions of a couple from the Gene Wilder version. There are some interesting locations, including some I have visited such as the harbour in Lyme Regis and the arcade in Milan. I enjoyed the movie.

Enjoy your weekend.

I'll have to check that show out, everyone seems to like it. Hard to beat Gene Wilder though!

Keep up that running! I wish my body would tolerate running, but it looks like I'm going to only be a walker the rest of my life. Too much fun in sports and the Army!

Wonka is less creepy than the Wilder movie. It actually needed more Oopah Loompah action :)

Oh nice. I almost got an electric car two years ago, but held off because I didn't like the designs. I was waiting for VW to put an electric engine in the GTI :)

This one looks quite smart. Even in 'eco' mode it's pretty nippy. They do one with 4-wheel drive that is really quick. You can feel a little less guilty when you put your foot down.

Wow
What’s an electric car like?
Does it need to be charged or what?
Congratulations

Great to see you back running and that is a solid run too :)

The cold sometimes prevents me from getting out and running but I am starting to get comfortable on the treadmills now, especially with Zwift

Everyone is getting sick nowadays due to the cold weather but it is good that you have continued your running even in these days.
