Spring in the Garden

Greetings, everyone!

The weather this year is funny. At the beginning of the week, we had negative temperatures at night and only +4°C the maximum of the day on Tuesday, and tomorrow, we will have +19°C during the day and a minimum of +9°C at night.

In my region, the cherry plum is the first tree to flower, and yesterday, it started. The perfume is amazing, although the quality of its fruits is never appreciated. Perhaps by the old man, who uses these fruits for the first batch of brandy...

I don't have any cherry plums in my garden, but I am neighboring a plot that is never maintained, and there are plenty of trees. Many are overgrown through the fence and are creating issues for the visiting cars.

Today, it was the time to do a bit of tree pruning, which is a good exercise for all the muscles, especially the back. When the job was done, I took three branches and made them into a bouchet for the living room to bring all that perfume inside.
