Liverpool beat Manchester United in their last game and went to the top position of EPL point table. They were two point ahead of Manchester City. But they playef one more game than City. So City must have to win this game to regained the top position. They had a big pressure. At last City was able to win the game against Brighton by 3-0 goal margin and regained their position at the top of the table. Now City has 77 points by playing 32 games. On the other hand Liverpool has 76 points after playing the same number of game.
Now both team have 6 more games in hand to play. If City win all their six games, they will be champion without any calculation. But if the lose points at least in a game, and Liverpool won their six games, then the all red will be new champion of Premier League this season.
Anyway, the game against Brighton was not wasy for Guardiola. They didn't goal in the first half. But in second half, Mahrez sent the ball to opposition net in a counter attack. Then Phil Fiden and Bernardo Silva also goaled. By which City got their heavy desired win.
Now both the supporters of Liverpool and Manchester City have to wait, an anxious wait, to see who will be the champion of this season in Premier League.
The task of getting the league will be very difficult in light of the suffering of Manchester City players from injuries and fatigue, and the level offered by Liverpool
