Barcelona vs Frankfurt

Last night there was a football match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Barcelona. It was a 1st leg game of Uefa Europa League quarter final. The match was held at home ground of Frankfurt and no team was able to win this match because the match ended at 1-1 goal margin.
Frankfurt are now in ninth position of Bundesliga. On the other hand Barcelona are now in 2nd position in la liga with a game in hand. They are now in 14 match undefeated run in all competition. So everyone thought that Barcelona will dominate on Frankfurt. But on the field, Barcelona players were struggling against the pace of Frankfurt players whole time. Again Barcelona had no control in their midfield until Xavi subbed Gavi with De Jong. The counter attack of Frankfurt were just beyond description.
Both team players missed some easy chance, otherwise the goal margin would increase. Anyway Frankfurt were able to see nd the ball in net after half time. And times later Ferran Torres were able to equalize the score. De Jong assisted the goal. At 78 minutes, Frankfurt defender Tuta got red card after two yellow. Both teams were unable to goal in the reat of the time.
The second leg will be held at Camp Nou one week later. Best wishes to my favourite team FC Barcelona.
Xavi made a gamble, Torres still needs to work on his finishing, hopefully Ansu will be ready for second leg.
A good draw for Barcelona at the Frankfurt stadium makes the team a stronger position at the Camp Nou, although the victory was very possible with the circumstances of the match....
