Barca won the match of Xavi's debut.

Days ago barcelona board sacked their manager Ronald Koeman when he was failed to win four matches in a row. Barcelona fall in ninth position of la liga point table. Then the board give the responsibility of the club manager to Xavi Hernandez, the club legend as a player. Xavi was playing his duty in Qatar as a coach of Al Sad. After taking the chair of Barcelona manager, yesterday was his first matches as a barca coach against the city opponent Espanyol. So it was an important match in some context. It was the first match of Xavi as a coach, a Catalan derby, Barca want a win after losing four games. And Xavi became able to win this match.

This game was a good game. Barca was dominating but they couldn't find the net. At least they found the net by spot kick of Memphis Depay. But in the last 15 minutes, Espanyol was playing well. They made some tremendous attack. And then Barca players were losing balls too much. It made me remind the match against Celta when Barca players lost ball possession too much and they conceded three goals and had to bear a drawn while they were clearly ahead of three goals in the first half. Barcelona need a sharp striker like suarez did here. They are suffering a lot for a perfect number nine.
